My Favorite 10-Minute Meal

Since I don’t have a stove, oven, or sink, I have to make sure all my meals are quick and easy microwave meals. And let me tell you, this sushi bowl hits the spot! It works perfectly with my temporary kitchen setup. I defrost frozen rice in the microwave, which only takes two minutes. Then I cut up some cucumbers, slice a little avocado and grab a handful of already shredded carrots I buy at the store. I top it with a little soy sauce and sesame seeds, and bam! I have a delicious, filling meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 C rice

  • Lots of cucumber

  • 1/2 - 1/4 avocado

  • Lots of shredded carrots

  • Low Sodium Soy Sauce or Tamari

  • Seasame Seed

Instructions:

  1. Cook or defrost rice

  2. Add everything to the bowl

  3. Enjoy
